Each year since 2012, Tom Sikorski and Kev Varney have presented a list of the most wins in Illinois high school football history. The list evolved from the top 100 into all schools that have won 300 or more games, and is referred to as Project 300, which lists schools such as Chenoa, Walnut, El Paso, Virden, and Peoria Spalding.

The yearly list not only shows the top 300 schools in the state, but also has a listing of all schools that have won 60% or better of their varsity games (with a 250 game minimum), as well as a watch list for schools that could part of the 300 win list in the future.
